Chienyu Chen

This work is based on Piet Cornelies Mondrian's Composition series of paintings. The paintings of the Composition series are composed of red, yellow, blue, white, black and various rectangles of different sizes. This series is famous for using colors to make asymmetrical compositions harmonious. I use this series of paintings as a reference to make my own version, Recomposition. Besides retaining the characteristics of this series, I also added some additional elements to make the final product look more harmonious.
